We haven't eaten dinner yet (7pm, at the moment), and I'm pretty hungry. It's pizza night, and I've only got enough room in the calorie budget for one slice - two slices if I take the exercise calorie deduction. Not fun at all right now.
I'm really struggling with the idea of exercise calories. There's no convenient way to reliably calculate the number of calories I burn doing a given exercise. That's why I'm relying on weigh-ins and adjusting my formulas if I'm taking too much credit for exercise. And my weigh-ins haven't been phenomenal this week. Constant back-and-forth on the scale. I really want to step on the scale Monday and know that I've dropped another two pounds since last Monday.
Time to go... I think my wife just got back with the pizza.
Two slices. I couldn't resist.
ReplyDeletePaleo... 30 days... do it! :)
ReplyDeleteI lost 20 pounds doing paleo in 30 days last year. And that was even with a "pizza friday" cheat day during the last two weeks.
ReplyDeleteI doubt I could live a lifetime of "paleo diet." I need to create a habit of eating weight-maintaining portions and constant self-monitoring. This is less about weight loss than it is a path to continued success.
